For the past several years The Foodie Review has been a way to share some of my adventures, as well as disappointments, passions and insights in food. Lately I have found myself crisscrossing Tampa with my son in his frequent quest for the best BBQ ribs in town. Traveling throughout Southeast Asia from 2004-2010 sparked my interest in discovering new techniques in Asian cooking. But my latest endeavor to write a BBQ Book is focused on my roots as a Pitman at The Old Hickory House while growing up in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
